March Volunteer of the Month awarded to Miriam Shaw!

Miriam Shaw is this month’s Volunteer of the Month in association with the Princess Margaret Hospital Green Team!

Miriam is dedicated to leading volunteers of the Green Team and an advocate for sustainability in her community. This past December, she and her team organised a river clean up along the banks of the Heathcote River and are looking forward to conducting another litter removal project soon. Miriam is diligent in removing litter such as cigarette butts which contain high amounts of chemicals that pollute waterways and are harmful to the environment.

Nice work Miriam and the Princess Margaret Hospital Green Team! Your commitment to keeping New Zealand Beautiful is quite admirable.

The winner of the New Zealand Couriers Volunteer of the Month receives $100, a KNZB tshirt, New Zealand Couriers bag, and more – along with being automatically entered into the annual Beautiful Awards!
