Keep New Zealand Beautiful welcomes Waitaki branch

Not-for-profit organisation Keep New Zealand Beautiful has welcomed a new South Island branch in Waitaki.

Keep Waitaki Beautiful will be headed by Tracey Clare. Tracey regularly collects litter in her local area and reached out to find out about her local Keep New Zealand Beautiful branch only to find out there wasn’t one.  So, she decided to start one herself.

“I’m passionate about our little slice of New Zealand and I want to help make a difference both to the community and to our world,” says Tracey.

Tracey will continue with her litter pickups and host two clean up events for the branch each year. She is eager to grow the branch and welcomes new members.

If you would like to join Keep Waitaki Beautiful or find out more about their upcoming clean up events you can contact Tracey directly.

By starting a local branch, you can help Keep New Zealand Beautiful to create a better New Zealand. For more information on Keep New Zealand Beautiful’s existing branches, or how to start one in your local area, please click here.
