7 Dec 2025Our Volunteers of the month for DecemberGraham and wife Lyn have been long serving and tireless contributors to sustainability in Whanganui.As Castlecliff Coast Care Co-Ordinator’s they have grown the organisation from a small group of keen people with spades to one of NZ’s best organised and performing local environmental care groups. Castlecliff Coast Care operated under the Progress Castlecliff umbrella from 2005 until this year when it reached a level of size and maturity that it’s being setup as a charity in its own right! https://castlecliffcoastcare.co.nz/Grahan & Lyn are also anchor members of Sustainable Whanganui https://sustainablewhanganui.org.nz/ and have been key supporters of the rejuvenation of Whanganui’s bus network.In true Kiwi fashion, Graham says that Castlecliff Coast Care is a team effort, so he sent pictures of some of their keen helpers collecting and separating out Pigao seeds and planting Spinifiex seed.THANK YOU, GRAHAM and LYN, FOR KEEPING NEW ZEALAND BEAUTIFULShare this page
