VOM – NOVEMBER

Tom Carr has recently been described as Palmerston North’s very own Captain Planet by stuff.co.nz and the team at Keep New Zealand Beautiful couldn’t agree more!

Tom you are a true inspiration to each and every individual in New Zealand, therefore we are awarding you with the New Zealand Couriers volunteer of the month award for November.Every day you will find Tom cleaning up his local community on his way to and from work. Most days he walks to work along Summerhill Drive and on his trips he brings his trusty grabber and rubbish bag.  It is estimated that since last year he had picked up about 700kg of rubbish during his 2.5-kilometre walk to and from work each day.
