Jill and Doug Phelps Win August Volunteer Of The Month

Congratulations to Jill and Doug Phelps, our Volunteers of the Month for August.

Both Doug and Jill can be seen almost everyday walking the rural streets of Bombay, Auckland collecting litter. They walk approximately four kilometres at a time and collect between four to six bags of rubbish each.

The local community regularly toot and wave when they drive past and the couple have inspired other locals to get out and about collecting litter.

The winner of the New Zealand Couriers Volunteer of the Month receives $100, a KNZB tshirt, New Zealand Couriers bag, Resene paint voucher, Klean Kanteen drink bottle, a 6-pack of Vista Drinks sparkling water and more – along with being automatically entered into the annual Beautiful Awards!
