Congratulations to Kate Fan, our Volunteer of the Month for February!

Kate is a valuable member of her school and community; organising school and beach clean-ups, volunteering her time tree-planting at Motutapu Island and conducting waste audits for her school. She has been the leader of the Environmental Group for the past year, arranging meetings every week to promote and educate her peers on the importance of having a clean environment.

She is strongly passionate about the environment and spends a lot of time organising events at her school to increase involvement and awareness for the environment.

Kate has recently cooperated with a local business to design a local community garden. She has been dedicating her time to work on this project and after budgeting costs and materials, will encourage her peers to get involved with the planting.

Kate’s dedication to the environment is definitely an inspiration to all her peers and she is  extremely deserving of this award!

The winner of the New Zealand Couriers Volunteer of the Month receives $100, a KNZB tshirt, New Zealand Couriers bag, and more – along with being automatically entered into the annual Beautiful Awards!
