3 Oct 2017 The Beautiful Awards, run by Keep New Zealand Beautiful, are just around the corner! This prestigious awards evening celebrates people and communities who Do The Right Thing and demonstrate environmental excellence in all walks of life. The calibre of entries for the 2017 awards has been very high, which has made judging extremely difficult! Keep New Zealand Beautiful would like to say a big thank you, first and foremost, to all of our judges. In particular we’d like to thank all of our award entrants for the time and effort that has been put in to submitting your entries. It is fantastic to see the amount of work that is going in to Do The Right Thing, nationwide; long may it continue! If you’d like to purchase tickets to the awards evening, hosted this year at Craggy Range in the Hawke’s Bay; you can do so on our website, https://www.knzb.org.nz/award-conference-tickets/ For all media enquiries, please contact: Kath Doubleday – National Marketing Manager marketing@knzb.org.nz 021 215 7952 Full list of finalists Community Environmental Initiative Award East Taranaki Environment Trust Kids Greening Taupo Tuakau Clean Up & Planting Group Community Group Award Wakatipu Reforestation Trust Progress Castlecliff The Sharing Shed Sustainable School Award Kristin School Morgan Educare Wainuiomata Primary School Kiwi’s Choice Akaroa Banks Peninsula, Canterbury Lake Marian Mt Maunganui Best Loo Mt Hutt Ski Area Riddiford Pavillion Piopio Public Toilets Most Sustainable Small Business Ecoware The Green Collective Most Sustainable Business Project Hawkes Bay Farmer’s Market Plastics NZ Young Legend Award Joanna Tao Mia Simcock Tidy Kiwi Award Beverley Thomson Tom Carr Karen Ngatai Ruud Kleinpaste Award Linda Keall Marty Hoffart Reena Wallis Most Sustainable Business Ricoh New Zealand Ceres Organics Blue Clean LTD Most Beautiful Suburb Havelock North Whitford Titirangi Most Beautiful Small Town Greytown Whirinaki Raglan Most Beautiful Large Town Feilding Cambridge Kerikeri Most Beautiful City Napier Masterton Tauranga — Ends — Share this page
