Silverstream Railway Clean Up

Silverstream Lions, Keep Hutt Valley Beautiful NZ, and KiwiRail are teaming up to clean up around the Silverstream Railway Station – and we’d love your help!

We’ll be picking up rubbish, painting over graffiti, and weeding/mulching along the rail corridor.

Keen to lend a hand?
Bring some sturdy shoes, gloves, and a bucket if you’ve got one – we’ll sort the grabber sticks and high-vis vests.

When:
Come along for as long as you can – even half an hour helps!
We’ll finish up by 2pm and there’ll be some refreshments to say thanks.

Where:
Find us by the wee bridge on the corner of Kiln Street and Whitemans Road – just look for the flags!
