Pick or Treat – Halloween Beach Clean Up

Join us in cleaning up the lakefront in honour of Keep New Zealand Beautiful’s Clean Up Week!

Clean Up Week may have been delayed, but it only gives us an excuse to celebrate in an even more fun way – on Halloween! Come in costume and try trick or treating with a twist – pick or treating. Grab a jack-o-lantern bucket and hit the beach to clean up litter and any other treasures you may uncover!

We’ll meet on Redoubt St, near the Float Plane, and divide and conquer from there. All supplies will be provided and then you can choose to venture along the beach, the town centre, or lakefront footpath. Let’s clean up Taupo, one piece of litter at a time!

At the end, there will be treats to reward your hard work.
