Kaitaia Market Kaitiaki bring to you – The Kaitaia Kaitiaki Clean Up 2022
Choose a spot on the way to the Kaitaia Saturday market to clean up , bring your bag to market and contribute to the clean up of Kaitaia and surrounds! There will be extra bins at the market to divert the recyclables we collect on the way to market, as well as rubbish bins to make sure litter heads to the landfill instead of our Moana. We will run a waste audit during this event to add to the Te tai Tokerau litter debris monitoring project.

Make sure you separate recyclables from litter when you are collecting, we recommend carrying two smaller bags instead of mixing one big bag… Please use garden gloves and common sense when litter picking!
