Clean Up Canongate/Rattray St Staircase

The staircase leading from Rattray St to Canongate is resembling a grotty armpit. Covered in relics and litter from many hazy nights on the town and the many pedestrians who huff and puff those steep steps day and night.

Come and join us in restoring some pride into this patch with a couple of hours of cleaning up! Many hands make light work, so Nau Mai, Haere Mai!

We will have old sacks and some tubs to fill with rubbish. We encourage you to bring a pair of gardening gloves if you own them. All rubbish collected will be audited and reported back to Keep Dunedin Beautiful.

P.S. if you work or live in the area, please spread the word that littering is no longer acceptable here (yep, this includes your ciggie butts).
