We’re a not-for-profit organisation who have been inspiring Tidy Kiwis to ‘Do the Right Thing’ and Keep New Zealand Beautiful since 1967.
All Events
Clean up event in Lucas Creek.
The clean up will happen on kayaks/canoes/SUP but you are welcome to do clean ups on land too and share your pictures with us on the event Facebook group or on our UH Ecology Network Facebook Group.
*For clean ups on land, you can freely dispose of the debris collected at the Constellation Drive Transfer Station*
This is a Greenhithe Ecology Network and Upper Harbour Ecology Network initiative supported by our community groups and partners (Living Whenuapai, Habitat Hobsonville, Herald Island Environmental Group, Sustainable Paremoremo, Centorian Reserve, Kaipātiki Project, Restore the Landing, The Legends of the Environment, Pest Free Coatesville) and Tauhinu Sea Scouts, Sea Cleaners, KASK and the Upper Harbour Local Board and Auckland Council.
Meeting (departure) points for the clean up:
– Meeting places A,B,C – BE READY ON THE WATER with your kayaks/boats by 12.30PM:
A – Herald Island – the Landing Reserve Ramp, 56/58 The Terrace, Herald Island.B – Albany – Boat Ramp end of Wharf Rd, by The Landing, AlbanyC – Paremoremo – Atwood Road ramp, Paremoremo
– Meeting Place D – BE READY ON THE WATER BY 12.55PM:
D – Greenhithe-Greenhithe Wharf, end of Rame Rd (Rame Esplanade Reserve), Greenhithe.
