DESCRIPTION:In September each year we hold an annual Beach Clean-Up event where local businesses and the community join in on our efforts to clean up Tāhunanui Beach\, the inlet\, the Back Beach and surroundings as part of New Zealand’s largest movement against litter during Clean Up Week.In 2024 around 200 people attended our event and collected 500 kilos of rubbish in just 3 hours.The Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park team is really proud of the legacy we’ve been creating for New Zealanders since 1926\, creating fabulous holiday memories! We’re all custodians of our beautiful shoreline and we’re committed to keeping Tāhunanui Beach beautiful and enjoyable for future generations\, our moana\, wildlife and coastal economies.
