DESCRIPTION:As part of Keep New Zealand Beautiful Clean Up Week 2021\, the Cambridge Community Board will be holding the “Cambridge Clean Up” on Saturday 18th September 10am-2pm.All welcome – get a group of family/friends/classmates/church mates/workmates etc together and lets clean up our beautiful town.Meet at the Whitaker Street carpark at the top of Lake Te Koo Utu and either help the Community Board pick up litter in and around the Domain or choose a street/park/commercial area in Cambridge to clean up – we’ll keep a map of which areas have been “taken” to try to avoid double ups.Some rubbish bags provided\, BYO bucket and reusable gloves (e.g. garden/dishwashing gloves). Bags of litter collected can be dropped at the meeting point before 2pm to be taken to the refuse centre.

DESCRIPTION:Keep New Zealand Beautiful is once again asking Kiwis to ‘Do the Right Thing’ and come together to make a collective difference by getting involved in this year’s Clean Up Week between September 13- 19. The community pride\nInitiative\, run annually by Keep New Zealand Beautiful\, inspires businesses\, schools\, community groups and individuals to actively participate in cleaning up their little part of Aotearoa. \nWe’ll meet at Pinewood Rd and head out onto the beach for the clean-up. There can be a bit of broken glass so volunteers will need sturdy shoes and cut-resistant gloves. We can provide some of these but its best if volunteers come equipped if possible.
