SUMMARY:Silverstream Railway Clean Up
DESCRIPTION:Silverstream Lions\, Keep Hutt Valley Beautiful NZ\, and KiwiRail are teaming up to clean up around the Silverstream Railway Station – and we’d love your help! \n\n\n\nWe’ll be picking up rubbish\, painting over graffiti\, and weeding/mulching along the rail corridor. \n\n\n\nKeen to lend a hand?Bring some sturdy shoes\, gloves\, and a bucket if you’ve got one – we’ll sort the grabber sticks and high-vis vests. \n\n\n\nWhen:Come along for as long as you can – even half an hour helps!We’ll finish up by 2pm and there’ll be some refreshments to say thanks. \n\n\n\nWhere:Find us by the wee bridge on the corner of Kiln Street and Whitemans Road – just look for the flags! \n\n\n\nLet’s work together to Keep Silverstream Beautiful. DESCRIPTION:Come help us Keep Ōmokoroa Beautiful! Everyone welcome\, bring the whole family. \n\n\n\nSpend an hour or so collecting rubbish from a designated area in Ōmokoroa to keep our penninsula looking beautiful\, stop rubbish entering our waterways and make connections with other locals. \n\n\n\n* M&Ms and stickers for the kids \n\n\n\n* Spot Prizes \n\n\n\n* Afternoon Tea afterwards to say thank you and have time to say Hi to your fellow helpers \n\n\n\n*We supply the equipment – gloves\, pick up sticks\, fluoro vests and a reuseable bag\, and dispose of the rubbish \n\n\n\n*The Ōmokoroa Lions Club will be in attendance collecting all your used aluminium coffee pods\, cans\, wine bottle tops and reading glasses. They send these to be recycled/reused and the funds raised is all given to charity!!!
