SUMMARY:Clean Up Canongate/Rattray St Staircase
DESCRIPTION:The staircase leading from Rattray St to Canongate is resembling a grotty armpit.  Covered in relics and litter from many hazy nights on the town and the many pedestrians who huff and puff those steep steps day and night. \n\n\n\nCome and join us in restoring some pride into this patch with a couple of hours of cleaning up! Many hands make light work\, so Nau Mai\, Haere Mai! \n\n\n\nWe will have old sacks and some tubs to fill with rubbish.  We encourage you to bring a pair of gardening gloves if you own them.  All rubbish collected will be audited and reported back to Keep Dunedin Beautiful. \n\n\n\nP.S. if you work or live in the area\, please spread the word that littering is no longer acceptable here (yep\, this includes your ciggie butts).

DESCRIPTION:Come along to the Scout Den (191 Main Street\, Otautau) between 10am and 12noon on Saturday 18th September and choose an area of Otautau to clean up rubbish from. Bring your bags back to the den when you are done as our Scouts will also do a rubbish audit. Bags back by 1pm please. \nSome reusable bags and gloves may be available\, but please bring your own if possible. Gardening gloves are eco-friendly. Tongs will be handy too. \nThis event will be followed by one in Nightcaps on Sunday 3 October from 10am until 12pm. Meeting place to be confirmed.
