DESCRIPTION:Join Keep Tai Tokerau Beautiful on 17 September to clean up Wairoa Road. \nWorking with local waste management we intend to clean up the roadside of all litter and recycling. If you wish to join us please get in touch. It would be great to have as many people on board as many hands make light work. \nThe importance of cleaning this area is not only to keep the space beautiful but also the fact that all of the water that runs down these drains eventually end up in the rivers and go out to sea.

DESCRIPTION:Every year Portobello School takes part in the annual Clean Up Week. Our tamariki and whanau will walk around all the streets of Portobello collecting rubbish along the way. The beach is also included in the clean up area. Once all rubbish is collected we adjourn to the park and sort out the rubbish into recycling and non-recycling areas.
