Sarah Nicholls wins May Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Sarah Nicholls, our Volunteer of the Month for May.

Sarah is just seven years old and organised a street clean up in her local community of Mangere Bridge in Auckland.

Together with Friends of the Farm and sponsors from local businesses Sarah and her family organised a free sausage sizzle for everyone involved and a fruit basket raffle.

On the day the community collected four big bins of rubbish and recycling which was sorted with the help of a rubbish expert at a station Sarah set up. The clean up day was a great success and she plans to do another one in the future.

Sarah is a fantastic eco-warrior working hard to keep her little patch of New Zealand beautiful. Congratulations Sarah we hope you can inspire more kids and communities to get involved.

The winner of the New Zealand Couriers Volunteer of the Month receives $100, a KNZB tshirt, New Zealand Couriers bag, Resene paint voucher, Klean Kanteen drink bottle, a 6-pack of Vista Drinks sparkling water and more – along with being automatically entered into the annual Beautiful Awards!
