Sam Mortensen wins December Volunteer of the Month!

Sam started Taranaki Conservationists with a bunch of other young conservationists back in 2015 and has dedicated many many hours towards organizing community planting days, beach cleans and collaborations with other organizations over the years. She has since had two kids and she still manages to delegate and make community conservation events happen!

She is an inspiration to her community as a young conservationist trying to get experience in the field and has provided many of other young conservationists opportunities within the field through her idea sharing and networks.

The winner of the New Zealand Couriers Volunteer of the Month receives $100, a KNZB tshirt, New Zealand Couriers bag, Resene paint voucher, Klean Kanteen drink bottle, two dreamy Vendella pillows, a 6-pack of Vista Drinks sparkling water and more – along with being automatically entered into the annual Beautiful Awards!

If you know someone who does great work keeping New Zealand beautiful, you can nominate them here.
