Community ownership

Inspiring community participation and community ownership is a critical element to finding long-term, sustainable solutions to environmental issues in New Zealand. To that end, KNZB believes that the only way to achieve success is through empowering local communities to find solutions to their local environmental issues.

Partnership

We have to work together. Addressing long-term environmental issues requires a partnership approach with positive and productive relationships with business and industry, local and national government, iwi, community groups and individuals to build ownership among our communities.
