Wall Worthy Winners

Wow – there really are some choice stories from every little corner of our beautiful country!

We got so many entries into our Wall Worthy competition that it was really hard to choose the winners – so hard that some regions even got Runners Up awarded. Head judge Oliver Maisey, creative director of McCann Worldgroup said “What came through clearly was the love and pride each entrant had for their region, and the time, care, and attention to detail each person had put into expressing this was staggering.”

Thanks to everyone who entered our Wall Worthy competition with their mural designs of what makes your community unique, and big ups to Resene and Panasonic for helping us make this happen. Resenes are giving $500 worth of paint to each winner to help get those murals up, and Panasonic are giving each winner a mini-stereo so they can rock while they paint and they’ve provided heaps of earphones for the spot prizes as well.

It was awesome going through all the entries – can’t wait for our next road trip so we can come and see all the things you’ve told us about.

And if you’re travelling round, check out these places – their winning entries will now be turned into murals so look out for them.
